PREYING ON OUR CHILDREN | Diary Of A Legal Drug Dealer

PREYING ON OUR CHILDREN | Diary Of A Legal Drug Dealer

HOW THE PHARMACEUTICAL INDUSTRY
IS PREYING ON OUR CHILDREN

K.L. Carlson, M.B.A.

“I want to sell drugs to everyone. I want to sell drugs to healthy people. I want drugs to sell like chewing gum.” With those words former Merck CEO Henry Gadsden established the aim of the entire pharmaceutical industry more than 30 years ago. With that aim, a monster was born. A monster that feeds on public tax dollars and then passes a portion of those dollars back to “public servants.” A monster that has bankrupted some state Medicare programs and caused other states to reduce the number of recipients in order to pay for the cost of drugs. A monster that injures, cripples, and kills, without regard for the age of its victims. More than one million Americans have died due to prescription drugs in the past ten years. The fact is, because of the aim
to sell drugs to everyone, the pharmaceutical industry has systematically devised ways to hook children on drugs at the earliest ages possible, including infants under the age of one year.

A Fence or An Ambulance

Twas a dangerous cliff,” as they freely confessed,
Though to walk near its crest was so pleasant;
But over its terrible edge there had slipped
A duke and full  many a peasant.
So the people said something would have to be done,
But their projects did not at all tally;
Some said, “Put a fence around the edge of the cliff,”
Some, “An ambulance down in the valley.”

But the cry for the ambulance carried the day,
For it spread through the neighboring city;
A fence may be useful or not, it is true,
But each heart became brimful of pity
For those who slipped over that dangerous cliff;
And the dwellers in highway and alley
Gave pounds or gave pence, not to put up a fence,
But an ambulance down in the valley.

“For the cliff is all right, if you’re careful,” they said,
“And, if folks even slip and are dropping,
It isn’t slipping that hurts them so much,
As the shock sown below when they’re stopping.”
So day after day, as these mishaps occurred,
Quick forth would these rescuers sally
To pick up the victims who fell off the cliff,
With their ambulance down in the valley.

Then an old sage remarked: “It’s a marvel to me
That people give far more attention
To repairing results than to stopping the cause,
When they’d much better aim at prevention.
Let us stop at its source all this mischief.” Cried he,
“Come, neighbors and friends, let us rally;
If the cliff we will fence we might almost dispense
With the ambulance down in the valley.”

“Oh, he’s a fanatic,” the others rejoined,
“Dispense with the ambulance? Never!
He’d dispense with all charities, too, if he could;
No! No! We’ll support them forever.
Aren’t we picking up folks just as fast as they fall?
And shall this man dictate to us? Shall he?
Why should people of sense stop to put up a fence,
While the ambulance works in the valley?”

But a sensible few, who are practical too,
Will not bear with such nonsense much longer,
They believe that prevention is better than cure,
And their party will soon be the stronger.
Encourage them then, with your purse, voice, and pen,
And while other philanthropists dally,
They will scorn all pretense and put up a stout fence
On the cliff that hangs over the valley.

Better guide well the young than reclaim them when old,
For the voice of true wisdom is calling,
“To rescue the fallen is good, but ‘tis best
To prevent other people from falling.”
Better close up the source of temptation and crime
Than deliver from dungeon or galley;
Better put a strong fence round the top of the cliff
Than an ambulance down in the valley.

Jack of All Trades....

Somebody once told me, "You don't do anything, you're only a mother! Why would you want a day off?"  If I don't do enough in a day to deserve a day off, then tell me who you've hired to be the following, so I may be "ONLY" a mother:

  • Chef
  • Dietician
  • Housekeeper
  • Maid
  • Janitor
  • Laundry Person
  • Veterinarian
  • Zookeeper
  • Groundskeeper
  • Gardener
  • Doctor
  • Secret Shopper
  • Entrepreneur
  • Bookkeeper
  • Drill Sergeant
  • Seamstress
  • Decorator
  • Party Planner
  • Chauffeur
  • Referee
  • Entertainer
  • Party Pooper
  • Plumber
  • Carpenter
  • Nanny
  • And the list goes on, and on, and on!

This Valentine's Day take the time to appreciate the mothers in your life. They deserve a lot more than a box of chocolates. Mothers work hard at being a mom and in some cases a wife.  Give appreciation and let them know you know how hard they work to make your life a better one. And for the mothers out there that have a helpful father by your side, let him know how much you appreciate him too. You have a rare jewel of a husband!

Is RBTI for Health Coaches?

If you are a Health Coach

who truly cares about the complete and total health and welfare of your clients then you will not want to miss out on the benefits of using RBTI in your Health Coaching Practice.

What Is RBTI?
Reams' Biological Theory of Ionization

RBTI is a means to measure progress and determine the direction you and your clients need to go in order to achieve maximum wellness without having to guess. Through a simple self-administered test, a client gets personally involved in the "knowing" and they will learn how to take control of their life from a new perspective as you guide them in making proper decisions. The equation that results from an RBTI test allows you to keep track of positive and negative progress while allowing you to key in on special needs a client may have. There are many different theories of what is the "proper" diet which is very confusing to say the least. Trying to find the "proper" diet for you or your client requires a good deal of guesswork. The RBTI test allows you to remove all of the guesswork and start from a very solid foundation to build a personalized dietary and lifestyle platform that is different for every bio-individual human being on this planet.

  • How much available energy the body has
  • Whether too much or too little carbohydrates are being consumed
  • Calcium deficiencies
  • Too much or not enough conductivity from "salts" in the system
  •  How much toxic protein waste is hanging out in the body
  • Adequate or inadequate levels of Vit C, Vit D, Potassium, Iodine, Iron, and literally all the minerals
  • Water intake-is it adequate or are you drowning
Plus a whole lot more...

Does RBTI sound interesting? Leave a comment and let me know.

Poetry Lovers' Page: If by Rudyard Kipling

Poetry Lovers' Page: If by Rudyard Kipling

If

If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you;
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;

If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise:

If you can dream -- and not make dreams your master;
If you can think -- and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two imposters just the same;

If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build 'em up with worn-out tools;

If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breathe a word about your loss;

If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: "Hold on!"

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with kings -- nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much;

If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run --
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And -- which is more -- you'll be a Man, my son!

Beware of the Grinch by Dennis Waitley

Beware of the Grinch by Denis Waitley

Now's the time you should hear this! For very good reason!
Now, please don't ask why. It's not simply the season.
Sooner or later the Grinch will invite you
To give up your life's goal as something you can't do.

It could be his head isn't screwed on just right.
It could be, perhaps, that his pants are too tight.
But I think the most likely reason of all
Is that his heart is too cold and his vision too small.

The Grinch is a dream stealer of many disguises.
A friend or relation with depressing surprises.
Just when you feel that your business is booming
He fills you with thoughts that are glooming and dooming.

He whispers about the forthcoming disaster
And about the new plan where you'll get rich much faster
When you say you look forward to earning a million.
He'll scoff and retort: "Not one chance in a billion!"

With a stock market rising and confidence strong
You'd think he'd get real and start going along.
But he howls and he growls with his terrible frown
"Whatever goes up, has got to come down!"

Sometimes the Grinch is quick to appear.
Sometimes he shows up year after year.
But whatever your "Why" and no matter "Who"
The dream stealer, Grinch, will start hitting on You.

He's the fear deep inside that insists you can't sell.
He's the voice that says, "Stop! Things are going too well!"
He especially hates Christmas and the spirit of giving
For he selfishly thinks that by "getting" you're living.

He thinks passionate service is too big a "Why"
And that money's the only incentive to try.
But he's missing the point, and hasn't a clue
That every Who out in Who-ville has a Dream to come true.

Sooner or later all dream stealers find
That they're out in the cold and left far behind.
What they could have or might have or should have possessed
Has now passed them by and left them depressed.

As you sit by the fire and plan the new year
Surrounded by family and friends of good cheer.
Remember the Grinch, with his feet in the snow.”
Standing puzzling and puzzling: "How could it be so?"

"It came without ribbons! It came without tags!
It came without packages, boxes or bags!"
"Maybe Christmas," he thought, "doesn't come from a store."
"Maybe Christmas... Perhaps... means a little bit more!"

It's a spirit to treasure each day and each night
It's the reason the American dream is still burning bright
It's a mission of hope you can trust and believe
"The more that you give, the more you'll receive!"

It is Up to You by Jim Rohn

It is Up to You by Jim Rohn

One of the first  things successful people realize is the old adage, "if it is to be, it is  up to me." That is, for you, the fact that your success and your course is  up to you. This doesn't mean that you do it all alone. It simply means that you  take responsibility for your life and your career.

Too many people today  look at opportunity and figure it is up to someone else to make sure they get  it. They look at financial security and hope that the government will make sure  they live safely in retirement or in case of disability. They wait and wait,  figuring that it is up to someone else. And then the wait is over, and it is  too late to do anything. Their life is over and they are filled with regret.
This isn't true for  you however. You know that you must take responsibility for your life. It is up  to you.

The fact is that  nobody else is going to do it for you “you must do it yourself.
