Meet the Resistance

I have a piece of literature I love - It was written by the late William Penn Patrick in approximately 1970.  Enjoy.

"No person, ideal or institution becomes great until Great Resistance has been encountered. Greatness cannot be achieved until this concept is understood.

Unfortunately, the average person is ignorant of this rule to achievement. Mr. and Miss Average, in their ignorance, are fearful and reluctant to encounter even slight resistance. They don't want to make waves or be criticized and they incorrectly feel that criticism will hold them back and prevent their happiness from being realized. In truth, the opposite is the case.

Take note: when we begin to change our jobs, we are first given resistance by our loved ones, for they fear change because change means facing the unknown! When we begin to make rapid achievement or commitment to rapid progress, we have road blocks thrown up by our friends and relations. They begin to resist by negative comments and actions which are devices to cause you to maintain the 'status quo'.

Now, if you are to achieve great progress, you must prevail against those closest to you; this is difficult and requires courage because you desire to please and not hurt those you love. The truth is that great harm befalls your loved ones when you fail to be yourself and do your thing. This is so, because you lose your enthusiasm for life, your growth process stops and your self-esteem diminishes.

Those negatives are revered when you stand your ground; and when you have prevailed, your loved ones gain a new and higher respect for you. History records countless events which prove the point. For an example, the greatest of all men overcame the most severe form of resistance and in so doing gave birth to Christianity. Had Jesus Christ run from His opposition, we would not know His name today, nor would we have available for our use those great and wonderful truths He brought forth for us so that humanity could find their individual greatness.

Furthermore, Christianity met "its" greatest resistance in Rome. Thousands of Christians were crucified in Rome. This resistance was met and in so doing, gave life to the force of Christianity, and Rome became the center of all Christianity - now, and for the past 1700 years, Rome has remained the very center of the Christian world.

Let these great lessons of the past stay in our mind as a beacon in our personal and corporate future. Let us understand and be grateful that our ideas have proven worthy of tremendous resistance. Today, all over the world, great forces have risen to resist our growth. These forces fear us for what we represent and they are attempting to destroy us and our dreams. Our understanding of this phenomenon and our strength of character and our commitment to our way of life is prevailing over these forces which have risen up. We are fortunate to have such great resistance. This resistance is evidence of our greatness and it provides us with the energy to prevail, to conquer and to dominate. These next few short years will record a brilliant history and establish a permanent place for our way of life - which is Freedom to be and to work out our dreams for a great world, for ourselves, for children and all humankind.

Understand our battle and be glorified that you are a part of the making of history. The work you do today in the defense of our way will provide new freedom and hope for millions yet to come. Stand tall in the face of our enemy...your resolution and commitment will seize his heart with fear and he will fade into oblivion. AND THAT IS THE LAW OF LIFE."

Are you meeting with Great Resistance?  If so, give yourself a huge pat on the back and keep on keeping on!

(NaturalNews) Switching to a natural foods diet sometimes means saying goodbye to some of your favorite recipes because they call for store-bought ingredients (e.g., bouillon) that are full of hidden MSG and other health-depleting additives. However, if you are dedicated enough and willing to experiment a little, it is often possible to find homemade equivalents for such items that will serve your purpose just fine. For example, following are homemade versions of 4 widely-used seasoning mixes, all of which can be prepared ahead of time for added convenience.

TACO SEASONING
Commercially-available taco seasoning mixes generally contain lists of ingredients like the following: "wheat flour, salt, dried garlic, maltodextrin, chili peppers, spice, dried onions, monosodium glutamate (MSG), paprika, sugar, silicon dioxide, soybean oil and malic acid."

It is simple to make your own homemade, additive-free taco seasoning using nothing more than dry seasonings and salt. This recipe is so delicious that you won't even miss the MSG! Combine the following dry spices and store the mix in a sealed container. This amount is equivalent to 1 packet of store-bought taco seasoning, and it can be used accordingly in your regular recipes.

2 tsp chili powder (see recipe below)
1 1/2 tsp paprika
1 1/2 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp onion granules
3 1/4 tsp garlic granules
1/2 tsp sea salt (optional)

CHILI POWDER
You may assume that chili powder is just ground up dried chili peppers, but often this is not the case. Check the ingredients list on the chili powder jar in your cupboard, and you may be in for quite a shock! Many varieties contain MSG, anti-caking agents, and other flavor enhancers and additives. The good news is that it is quick and easy to make your own. Combine the following dry spices, and store the mix in a sealed container.

6 TBSP paprika
2 TBSP turmeric
1 TBSP dried red pepper flakes
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp ground cayenne
1/2 tsp garlic granules
1/2 tsp sea salt
1/4 tsp ground cloves

DRY ONION SOUP MIX
Dry onion soup mix adds great flavor to recipes like meatloaf and roasts. Unfortunately, commercial varieties contain MSG and other additives. Mix together the following dry spices. Use the mix immediately or store it in an air-tight container for later use. This recipe is equivalent to one packet of store-bought onion soup mix and can be substituted in all of your favorite recipes!

3 TBSP dry onion flakes
4 tsp onion granules
1/2 tsp celery salt
1 1/2 tsp sea salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp garlic granules

BEEF BOUILLON CUBES
Many cooks rely on bouillon to add a "kick" of flavor to gravies, soups, roasts and other recipes. Unfortunately, most of this "kick" in commercial varieties comes from the MSG they contain! This recipe requires a bit more effort than the seasoning mixes above, but it will last a long time because it yields about 42 cubes!

Combine the following ingredients in a saucepan without any liquid. Cover and cook over the lowest heat setting for 2 hours. Transfer the mixture to a blender and process until smooth. Pour into ice cube trays and freeze. When frozen solid, transfer cubes to freezer bags or air-tight containers, and store them in the freezer for future use. Dilute these cubes at a rate of one cube per half cup of water.

3 cups freshly minced celery, tightly packed
3 cups freshly minced carrots, tightly packed
2 cups freshly minced onions, tightly packed (about 2 medium onions)
2 TBSP sea salt
1/2 pound ground beef (grass-fed is best)

Lemons, Lemons, Everywhere!

Lemons, Lemons, Everywhere in RBTI, All I see is lemons.
Why does RBTI require the use of lemons?

Well, let's take a look at the lemon from Dr. Reams' POV.

1.  The lemon is anionic. Anionic substances are substances which release the energy from a reaction or stimulate the body to accept energy.  It establishes a "resistance" media when in contact or reaction with other food.  This resistance between nuclear atmospheres results in energy that the body can modify to a frequency the organ systems can readily use.  To put it simply, the lemon, in conjunction with calciums, helps extract energy from the living aspects of our food.

2.  Lemon stimulates the liver to flush itself of toxins and stimulates the biliary action of the liver, resulting in a bile that is then more capable of breaking down the food in preparation for absorption.

3.  Calcium is a very important mineral in our bodies and lemon "fixes" calcium.

4.  Lemon assists in blood purification, which further neutralizes
toxins, helps tie up acetones, and assists in oxygenation of the blood.

5.  Lemon contains glucose and potassium salts, which helps to tonify and stabilize the heart muscle. It also assists in fluidifying the blood which takes strain off the heart.

6.  Citric acid turns to citric salts in the stomach and clears the mucous and encrustations off an ulcerated area in the stomach and duodenum, which then allows the healing process to begin.

7.  Some evidence suggests that lemon juice over time may help pull cholesterol & triglycerides out of the blood.

8.  Lemon seems to dissolve or pull crystalline deposits out of joints and muscles-helping arthritic conditions.

9.  Uric acid & urates, which accumulate in the joints and muscles, may be helped by the "fixative" character of the anionic lemon.

10.  Intestinal parasites are disrupted by the presence of lemon and lemon peel. Protozoans, parasite eggs and segments and even some bacterial forms are rendered inactive.

11.  Lemon helps dissolve both cholesterol and calcium deposits in the gallbladder, as well as assisting in the removal of calcium deposits in the kidneys.

12.  Lemon and honey have long been used as a gargle for sore throats and oral infections.

13.  Olive oil and lemon on salads help soothe the gallbladder.  Olive oil also ties up unwanted alkaloids and will eventually dissolve cholesterol gallstones.

14. On the outside, lemon juice is excellent for acne as a facewash, cuts and scrapes as an antibacterial wash, hair to cut the soap and film scum left behind by other cleaners, feet to deodorize and toughen sensitive skin.

This is why the lemon is the all-star player of the RBTI followed by calcium in close second.
